Patrick Auvrèle

    Director of Safety at SNCF Voyageurs

    Patrick Auvrèle graduated from ENSAM in 1991 with a master's degree in quality management, and has spent most of his career with the SNCF group. After holding various engineering and operational positions, he became director of the strategic rail maintenance program in 2007, before taking charge of the locomotive and freight car maintenance department in 2009.

    From 2012 to 2015, he was TER Director in Champagne Ardenne, representing the SNCF Group in this region. In 2015, he was appointed head of the PRISME program, tasked with transforming safety management within SNCF.

    In 2017, he joined the Matériel division, first as director of the division's evolution program, and since 2019 as director of the Valorisation patrimoniale business unit. There, he notably led the vast OPTER program for the mid-life renovation of the TER fleet.
